What is the first day of school? | August 10, 2023 |
What time does school start? | Doors open at 7:30 am for breakfast. The tardy bell is at 8:00 am |
What is late start Wednesday? | Every Wednesday, school will start at 8:45 am. Doors will open for breakfast at 7:45 am. |
What time is school over? | The final bell rings at 3:10 |
Where is parent drop off and pick up? | On the East side of the school between the main school building and the athletic building |
Where is bus drop off and pick up? | On the South side of the school |
Is my child allowed to wear a mask? | Yes, but it is not required |
When is lunch? | Each student will have either A or B lunch. This is determined by their 4th hour class. See the bell schedule below. |
Where do the students go for lunch? | Students are allowed to sit in the upper and lower commons, They are also allowed seating outside in the courtyard. Students may only go to a teacher’s classroom with a pass. |
Are lockers issued? | No, but a student may request a locker if needed. |
When will iPads be issued? | Freshmen will receive iPads August 14th and 15th. All other grades will receive their iPad on August 16th during their Panther Time. |
What school supplies are required? | Each teacher may request specific items for their classroom. This will be presented in the first few days of class. If your child needs assistance with school supplies, please let us know. |
When are school pictures? | August 18th |
Are students required to wear an ID? | Yes, starting this school year, we will require students to wear IDs. |
How do I stay informed with events at PCN? | The PCN PTSO facebook page will carry most events. You can also access the PCN calendar from the PCN website. |
Is there an app to stay informed of events at PCN? | Yes! You can download the Putnam City Schools OK app from the Apple store. You can then customize the app. To receive information for events at all of your children’s schools. |
| Student Schedules | PCN does not do a schedule pick-up day. This is because many schedules will still change between now and the start of school as we balance classes.
Schedules will be viewable from Power School starting August 7th. We recommend you access your child’s schedule or have them access it on their own device if they will be bringing a cell phone to school.
If your student is not able to get into Power School before the first day, there will be plenty of people available to help them view their schedules and get to their classes.
